Review of Five Easy Pieces (1970) by Guillaume H — 23 Mar 2013
This moive is more than the sum of its part. Its title is highly indicative of the caracters inability to live up to himself and jack nicholson masters this listlessness to a high degree. the interactions with every caracters is the most fascinating part, and the depiction of a clash between higbrow and lowbrow makes this movie timeless in a way.
Kudos to Karen Black who is tender and fierce, the true beating heart of this movie.
