I will say this: Considering it's a German film with English subtitles, it doesn't really matter, since there is not much talking in the entire film. It's about 30 minutes of dialogue and 2 hours of riding a boat up the river and watching Indians chop down trees.
A weird movie but not entirely unenjoyable.
