Review of Fitzcarraldo (1982) by Sara H — 27 Jan 2010
This was an amazing film. I'm totally fascinated by how hard it would've been to make. Some of the shots were mind-blowing beautiful, and the opera music added the perfect touch. It was a very long film, but an extremely powerful one.
In the end, Fitzcarraldo had overcome the impossible- what an incredibly beautiful story. I can't wait to see all the documentaries about the making of this film!
