Review of Fist Fight (2017) by Dan L — 13 May 2017
It's not a bad film. Charlie Day and Ice Cube are certainly fun to watch, but it's thinly-written and there are very few laughs. Things just happen in the movie because they're supposed to be funny, such as the school pranks, the talent show, the attempt to get Ice Cube arrested for drug possession, and, of course, the fist fight.
These ideas can be funny, but a film needs a script, even comedies.
