A stunningly real portrayal of a teen fighting her way through the crappy cards that life has dealt her. Arnold captures the feel of the scuzzy apartment complex and the tenuous relationship between Mia and her Mom in an authentic manner that feels almost documentary-like at times.
Fantastic - too bad it didn't get a bigger release in North America.
