Review of Fish Tank (2009) by Sarah . — 20 Jul 2010
This movie was pretty good. The acting was great, and there were moments where I was very impressed. Ive come to realise that British drama movies dont hold anything back - and this one is not an exception. On top of that though, it is somewhat your typical British drama (i.e. not completely fresh), but at the same time the actual core of it was something I hadnt seen before and found very interesting to watch. On a personal note I hated all the dancing in this movie (which there was a lot of) but that shouldnt stop you from seeing it, it was just a personal thing. I kind of wanted more out of the ending, but at the same time it was a realisitc ending - its life.
What did this movie teach me? Men cannot be trusted.
