Was so with this movie for the first half. Felt like an anti-Precious, where dysfunction was evident but not the only note struck. But after Mia takes that girl...I don't even know what was going though her mind.
By the end, all we're left with is an exploitative and warped version of the human experience that is supposed to be genuine.
