Bit of an odd one. Maybe I didn't get it as I didn't live on an estate growing up or know anyone that did either. It almost seemed stereotypical to me but again, I have no clue. Katie Jarvis was an amazing find and perfect for the role of Mia.
Some of the scenery shots were beautiful and the chemistry between characters was spot on. It was very much in the same vein as Red Road which I gave a similar rating. The film is interesting enough and well made but I've seen better, grittier, more entertaining British films in my time.
