Review of First Snow (2006) by Dominique M — 07 Jan 2008
Intriguing concept with some philosophical brooding makes for an engaging film experience. The idea of everything happening for a reason and whether or not everything we do is preordained is tackled throughout the movie.
Guy Pearce should be commended for his quirky filmography and J.K. Simmons whom everyone will recognize from the Spider-Man trilogy gives a nice subdued performance. This like a lot of smaller movies will challenge the impatient and reward those who patiently wait for it to play out.
