Horrible dialogue, affectless acting that didn't make sense for the characters at certain critical points, mish mash of religious symbols (being picky here - but, hey, if you're making an intentionally austere film, the few references / symbols should be spot on), unbelievable interactions between the minister as portrayed and the way he interacted with a character.
