Typical dark, misunderstood hollywood version of Christianity. Minister has a tough life, feels undervalued by big mega church, and wants to blow everyone up. How nice. This happens how many times in the real world? Maybe never? If the director has some time off and needs something to do, research the Brookville church on Long Island.
There you will find a real story of a minister who lost his family but continued being a friend to the community and keeping the faith. Today, this church holds services for Christians, Jewish , and Muslim communities.
Now thats a movie I'd rather see!
