Finally a movie with its own character, with its own texture, with its own flavor. And what a movie it is! Hawke is great, but we all know that by now, don't we? "First Reformed" slowly builds up in a bleak, human and honest story.
A film with not many answers maybe, but surely the questions are the right ones! Have faith and watch it.
