Review of First Reformed (2018) by Gary E — 16 Jul 2018
The trailer gave no clues as to what it was all about, and the film less so. A complete crock of shit, slow, boring and uninteresting, my companion had the right idea and slept through most of the screening, just when I thought it was going to get interesting and dramatic, it went all gooey, would have lost the plot if there had been one to start with.
None of the characters were convincing, all wooden and un-real. Don't bother with this one, you will have wasted your time & money.
