Review of First Man (2018) by Scooter P — 11 Oct 2018
The film is mostly about the personal life of Armstrong, which unfortunately is somewhat uninteresting outside of the tragedy he endures. The best parts of this movie deal with Amrostrong's career at NASA.
The realism of those scenes including the rockets and space are fantastic. The worst is the horrible camera work. The constant shaky handheld cam with blurry zooming and way too many closeups. This movie could have been much better if the personal life stuff was shortened and the camera work was cleaned up.
