Review of First Man (2018) by Jack W — 12 Oct 2018
A worthy film, superbly directed. Ryan Gosling's Neil Armstrong however, is completely expressionless the majority of the time. This can make the film feel rather dry and uninvolving, especially considering it's length.
I don't think it's one that will get repeat watches.
