One of my fav's since I was a kid, great story of love and war! Richard Gere's character does get on my nerves a little though, loving Julia Ormond's character so much that he starts to become a bit obsessive and pathetic, it starts to make me think; why doesn't he just take a hint and walk away :P, but I can understand that love can make you lie that sometimes and he does get what he wants in the end.
