I sometimes see the term "popcorn flick" as a code word for "this movie is probably crappy but has a lot of explosions" where I see this more as a true "popcorn flick" that it is a solid movie, grab some popcorn, you probably will not be too confused feeling what characters are antagonists or protagonists, and acting from everyone is pretty solid and believable for each of their parts.
Yes, even Bruce Willis. Good action scenes, good easy to understand storyline, without spoiling anything, you will probably feel decent in the end.
