Review of First Kid (1996) by Maria A — 07 Feb 2007
The great thing about Sinbad is that he's a comedian with class and that can be a very rare thing nowadays in film. However he doesn't take himself too seriously in any of his roles, I've always admired that about him, a very down to earth performer but he's always able to divide the characters he plays and not make them all seem the same.
The story as expected from a film like this is not original but since its along the lines of a family comedy its not needed to be too glamorous as any film of the genre ever is. In good fun but I'd only say it's worth watching once.
