Review of First Blood (1982) by Tyson P — 02 Apr 2010
On the plus side. It is fast paced, suspenseful and certainly not boring. Very well edited with good cinematography. On the negative side, the plot is hardly convincing. Sylvester Stallone can not act.
It is way too over the top, and that scene near the end with Stallone is pathetic. All Stallone did was borrow a well worn story, put a modern twist on it, so therefore it also lacks originality.
