Review of First Blood (1982) by Aj V — 14 Feb 2013
There is nothing refined about the portrayal of Stallone's mentally scarred Vietnam vet. As an action film it is fine but the lack of subtlety prevents Rambo's tortured soul from ringing true. Not only that but in the final scene when Sly finally gets a chance to 'act', what sounds like a decent monologue becomes a mere blur of noise amid the actors mumbled delivery.
