Review of Firewall (2006) by Mickael L — 14 Nov 2009
Harrison Ford is a security expert at a top banking firm, with a merger in progress. It all goes to hell quite fast when his family gets kidnapped by a group wanting to pull off a smooth ten million without a trace connecting them to the heist. But as this is a classic "american hero" plot, your everyday desk-jockey becomes a gunwielding Rambo who saves the cash, blackmails the kidnappers and eventually sorts everything out before the cops even get there.
That sums up the whole plot in a nutshell. Add a handful of escape-attempts and some crude 'hacking', mixed with some fairly simply choreographed fight-scenes and there you go. Decent actors, all around well-balanced package.
