Review of Firestarter (1984) by Dave H — 17 Sep 2010
Drew - post Gertie - does well with the required cuteness, and surprisingly adequately with the required menace. Scott and Sheen are always watchable, even on autopilot. But the other acting and the direction of this makes 70s TV look good by comparison, and with the score by Tangerine Dream, this seems a lot more dated than it actually was.
One of the weaker King adaptations.
