It is a message movie, but please tell me what story doesn't have some message or moral--some are less clear than others, but this one is very clear. It uses few accomplished actors but in most cases the performances are surprisingly good.
This is a very good movie in every respect. I have viewed better written and acted movies but I have endured many big budget productions with professional actors that were far, far worse. I recommend it.
