Review of Fireproof (2008) by Corinna E — 14 Feb 2010
I don't know if this is the movie that heightened awareness about The Love Dare but I thoroughly enjoyed the movie. It begins with TERRIBLE acting from EVERYONE with the exception of Kirk Cameron and Ken Bevel, his Christian co-worker at the station.
Everybody else was reading from some cue card, so I was about to say, "Let's just watch something different," then the movie mixed in some very needed action. The scenes got better and the storyline started to unfold.
If you get past the early bad acting, it gets better and a great message is told. It is a wonder how much can be tolerated and saved when two people simply remain in the same household versus leaving each other.
GOD IS GOOD.
