Review of Fireproof (2008) by Terry C — 30 Aug 2011
It is once again a commendable feat for a church community of non-film professionals to make this production, like they did with Facing The Giants. This time around the issue at hand is the struggles of marriage and the characters are slightly more developed.
However, it still does have a lot of cinematic cliches. Cameron does a decent acting job, being the only real professional actor there. I guess I should give credit to the other cast of non-professionals despite their shortcomings, though some do come off as being rather entertaining as well.
