While the ideas that the movie presents are great ones - love, selflessness, forgiveness - the way in which they are presented is plodding in every way. Poor pacing, poor dialogue, laughable acting, predictable plot. Kirk Cameron is Marlon Brando compared to his costars. I certainly didn't hate it, and I think there are quite a few people that would like it. I just expect more from a movie.

Does the word "Christian", when attached to movies or music, always have to mean lower quality? It seems like it.
