Somebody with true talent really needs to step in and take control of the spiritual movie genre. Films like Fireproof will only reach out to the already saved, which begs to question, what is the point? It's like giving a sermon fully aware your audience already knows exactly what you're about to say, word for word.

And when your audience is already up to par with your horribly forced, awfully unconvincingly performed message, the need for a film like this completely dissipates.
