Im sure this film was great in its day, but by modern standards, its ruight up there with Indipendance Day for making America look stupid. The dogfight scenes were poor, though I think they may have inspired Lucas for the speed racer scenes in SW Ep 1?!?! And the Mig-31 is nothing like that futuristic jet in the film!
