Review of Firefox (1982) by James S — 14 Feb 2009
Everything about this movie screams 1980's..from the less than perfect special effects...to the music, etc. BUT, what it does capture is the fear and repression of the Soviet Union and the sacrifice of those resisting communism.
It makes your really feel the fear of those who lived in Russian during the Cold War...a very real war that is often forgotten. Plus, you get that classic scene with Clint pushing the Russian stooge off the plane right before he lowers the canopy.
