Review of Firefox (1982) by Jerry S — 25 May 2012
Childhood nostalgia blurs my ability to objectively rate this film, but when I saw this in the theater at 10 years old, I thought it was one of the best movies ever. I can now say it's not one of the greatest films of all time and is overlong by about 45 minutes, but I still enjoyed the film a great deal, particularly the cold war cloak-and-dagger potion of the film in Russia prior to Clint stealing the title plane halfway through the film.
Solid direction by Eastwood and fine moody photography by Bruce Surtees.
