Review of Fire Serpent (2007) by Dave C — 14 Jul 2007
Nicholas Brendon and Robert Beltrane star in a William Shatner creation. When solar flares occur a creature of fire leaves the sun and land on Earth and begins to burn things for fuel. Now fire is a very difficult to do in special effects, especially when you are trying to give it a particular and in this film they just fail to pull it off.
Brendon looks as though he sat through one to many expositions in Buffy and just can't take any more as plays a fireman intent on stopping this creature. As Sci-Fi Channel films go this really is poor.
The story is more the type of thing of thing you'd expect to see in an episode of The X-Files, just with a worst cast and cheap special effects.
