I enjoy this movie because it doesn't focus on the abduction and aliens. it pays more attention to the people that were left on earth when their freind dissapeared, and how the town held them responsible with suspicion of murder.
the brief abduction sequence did give a gruesome depiction of the missing characters experience of the craft.
