Review of Fire in the Sky (1993) by Tom H — 20 Feb 2009
Based on the abduction of Travis Walton, this story is told in a round about manner that drags and gets a bit tedious. When Walton disappears, his friends tell the police he was abducted by Aliens. They take lie detector tests and they are made out to be criminals, until Walton mysteriously reappears and we see what happened to him.
Some parts are genuinely creepy and scary, but overall the film is slow and mostly boring up to that part. The acting is fine, I guess. Overall the screenplay could be more entertaining. If you don't see this one, you aren't missing much.
