Review of Fire Down Below (1997) by Jim M — 29 Mar 2008
Steven Seagal movie, you like hiim or you don't. Course even the most die hard fan can find him insufferable once he starts preaching, or acting. Here we find Seagal in small town Kentucky (populated by hill billy sterotypes) fighting a coal barons hired thugs and trying to stop said Coal Baron from illeagally dumping toxic waist.
Only moderatly entertaining due to the action scenes being farely standard Seagal fare (no one touches him). However Kris Kristofferson and Stephen Lang pull off good performances as villains. Watch it if your a Seagal fan, or looking for a pro-enviromentaction film.
