Review of Fire Down Below (1997) by Steve B — 10 Apr 2011
Steven Segal plays an EPA agent investigating a small hillbilly town which is the dumping site of toxic waste by some corporate big wig. There are connections in the town who try make his job harder but they put up no fight and in fact I can't recall Segal getting hit once through the movie.
Nice rural landscapes and quarries opposed to city and dark scenarios. It's almost like the 'Pale Rider' stranger in town, helping the folk but with great self defence, pity there wasn't much in the movie and there was no challenge for Segal.
I suppose it was just a walk in the park.
