Review of Fire and Ice (1983) by Alex G — 25 May 2010
The lowdown: first half of the movie is straightly aimed at men; it's about a half-naked girl running in a forest. Then, some of the scenes were clearly reused items from lotr but luckily it didn't matter that much (whereas the soundtrack did sound very similar to lotr).
What I really enjoyed about this movie was the scenery/art work which was beautiful. Also, the movement of all the living things were excellent and esp. the wolves and horses were pleasant to watch as they looked realistic.
The story was a bit corny but all-in-all an okey movie in a Ralph Bakshi style.
