Review of Fire and Ice (1983) by Karly A — 14 Aug 2010
How can a movie with this much violence and so many scantily clad characters be so tremendously boring?
The mind boggles.
I will give kudos to it for being one of the few rotoscoped films that is actually nice to look at and the backgrounds (painted, oddly enough, by Thomas Kinkade) were usually gorgeous, but in the grand scheme of things, it's a dull and lifeless Conan the Barbarian pretender. Not among Bakshi's best.
