Review of Finian's Rainbow (1968) by Byron B — 30 Aug 2008
If you make it past the first hour, this is a decent musical to watch. It "precious" at time (leprauchans, pots of gold), but there's some nice dancing, and some of the songs are really catchy.
It's good to see Fred Astaire dancing despite his age. It looks like he didn't lose a step. And, yes, it's a Coppola movie, and no, it's not like any of his other ones, to my knowledge.
