Review of Finding Nemo (2003) by Shannon R — 22 Nov 2018
This film is a good example of how a single father is able to take on the roles of both father and mother after his wife died along with all of his children except for Nemo. One can clearly see the bond between father and son and how the traditional father figure role changes with Marlin's position within his son's life.
This film also challenges the traditional understanding of marriage by showing how family can still function even if an individual loses his or her significant partner.
