Review of Finding Nemo (2003) by Robin N — 31 Dec 2013
I LOVE this movie! Our story centers around Marlon (voice of Albert Brooks) who loses his wife and most of his kids to a shark attack (scariest part of the movie if you have young ones). The only one to survive is Nemo and he has a smaller fin. Marlon becomes overprotective of him and Nemo tries to rebel against him one day on a school field trip. When Nemo is taken by divers, Marlon sets out on an adventure to find his son, with the help of Dori (a Royal Blue Tang Fish voiced by Ellen DeGenerous...brilliantly might I add!).
With the exception of the opening sequence, this is a perfect movie to watch with your kids. It teaches them about the power of working together and the importance of family. I would say this is a great movie for kids (and adults) ages 5 and up.
