Review of Finding Forrester (2000) by Elaine M — 23 Jan 2009
Pretty rubbish drama about a reclusive novelist and the relationship he forms with a 16-year-old basketball player. It's like these films just think up the two most opposite characters and throw them together in a film to be 'original', but it's ends up sappy and stupid.
This one is tolerable for its likeable characters, decent acting, and the unfailing presence of Anna Paquin, but overall it's fairly boring right through...
