Review of Finding Forrester (2000) by Adam T — 31 Jul 2008
Seeing this performance out of Connery makes you wish he hadn't hung em up and kept going to a while. Connery has shown his ability beyond his Bond and action fame, and this might be his best showcase of his pure ability.
The differance between him and Jamal drives the movie, as the friendly tension makes a compelling view. A kind of re-molding of Scent of a Woman, but it never feels like a direct rip-off. A nice warm movie that is purely enjoyable from beginning to end.
