Review of Finding Forrester (2000) by Sharyn H — 04 Dec 2008
Beautiful movie; very touching. Seen it several times, and are always impressed by it - has just enough of everything to keep it interesting. Connery and Brown are a great duo who work exceptionally well off each other, Paquin was good at playing someone who was somewhat prissy and annoying but likeable all the same, and Abraham was perfect at playing a Professor who was completely unlikeable in his pretentiousness.
I loved the relationship between Jamal (Brown), his mother (Berry) and brother (Rhymes) - very endearing.
