Review of Finding Forrester (2000) by Haywood F — 23 Mar 2010
Never Forced or Fake, this film finds character for every role. Instead of exploring the Bronx, Gus Van Sant stirs up trouble in the upper class, examining the stereotypes and pressure that results in a broken promise.
Rob Brown is wonderful to watch, making the shift from comfort to discomfort in the same scene. Look for this: When faced with adversity and accusations, will you back down and take the easy way out, or will you close the door on it all in the name of principals?
