Who the hell is this Gus Van Sant and what had I been watching in 2000 that I missed this one? Another brilliant work of Mr. Van Sant that takes us into the world of a flawed character finding his purpose in the late of his life.
This film explores personality disorders and the art of writing, two things I'm fascinated by. I find Mr. Van Sant's works very liberating and harmonic, unlike your usual brutal, heart-breaking drama I can't bring myself to watch for the second time.
