Review of Finding Dory (2016) by Lewis E — 01 Nov 2016
'Finding Dory' is a fun light-hearted adventure providing greater background to the adorable forgetful blue fish. It does nothing to diminish the animated under-water universe created by 'Finding Nemo' but I nevertheless struggle to see if it adds anything significant.
Personally, I did not particularly care about knowing Dory's family history. It repeats a fair amount of the 'search storyline' elements and script/humour is less imaginative. At least children will find enjoyment as this sequel continues to offer bright, colourful visuals along with likeable characters.
