Finding Dory walks a line between the masterful emotional manipulation that Pixar does so well and creating a movie that doesn't diverge too far from the familiarity of the original film...like The Force Awakens.
Dory is still very entertaining and touching but it feels more actively manipulative/focused grouped than other Pixar films.
