Review of Finding Dory (2016) by Nico S — 18 Feb 2017
I was never a big fan of Dory from Finding Nemo, so I was reluctant to watch this one, and boy did I change my mind. This is a solid sequel that doesn't try to copy too much from the first one, it doesn't do a lot of call backs to the first one so anyone could watch this, and it adds a whole new layers to some characters; it's everything I ask for in a sequel.
Dory being forgetful became frustrating at one point but that was done on purpose so we have sympathy for her friends, and it's not too repetitive for a story that revolves around memory loss and triyng to remember what happened 5 mins ago, the writers did a great job with adding turns that aren't expected.
