Review of Finding Dory (2016) by Hazzagalla — 17 Jun 2016
To be honest, my opinion on Finding Dory is a little mixed. Things that must be praised right out the gate however include the brilliant animation, the fantastic score and great voice cast. However, the biggest problem I had with this movie was its story.
Elements of the movie felt so ridiculous, unbelievable and "convenient" for the main characters that you never fear for them, everything just feels like "what a coincidence". Not all is like this however, there are a couple of really special moments definitely, overall but it doesn't have the emotional weight, action and pull of its predecessor.
