Review of Finding Dory (2016) by Mattyice — 16 Jun 2016

While Finding Dory does not come close to being better than Finding Nemo (one of my favorite animated movies ever) and the first half/third feels a bit too familiar, the rest of the film is great and definitely a step in the right direction for Pixar, which has come off one of its best movies and one of its worst movies in the past year.

All of the characters, old and especially new, are fantastic, the feels and themes are there, and, more importantly, the film is engaging and fun. Probably just in the dead middle of Pixar's 17 films, but still a great movie that I'd strongly suggest to anyone, especially if they have seen Finding Nemo or are generally a fan of Pixar.
